1 « J'aime »

[Pro Cycling Manager 2016 - PC] New Multiplayer Mode

The multiplayer mode underwent a complete overhaul to offer you all the required tools to compete in online races. You can easily create your own tournaments, races, tours, classics, tracks, and more.
These tournaments are totally customizable (races, teams, databases…) and can take place on a specific date or run through several days.
You can also decide to get into the cooperative mode to take the lead of one of the official teams in the game, in order to climb all the way to the top of the official leader boards!

Another great addition to the multiplayer mode, ‘Pro Cyclist’ in which you play as a ride instead of sports manager, also gets a multiplayer element. You are free to play riders from different teams, or cooperate with other players to open new strategic options. This new possibility adds a lot of variety to the game.

Concerning the competitive mode (official leaderboard), you can use the real-life teams, and each of them is part of a specific section allowing you to win more or less points. Intermediate sprints are also a way to get additional points.
If you wish to use a customized data pack (jerseys, races, databases) in multiplayer, the data will automatically be downloaded at the start of the competition, or in advance on the Steam Workshop.
Finally, you’ll be able to reconnect easily in a race after a crash or a disconnection.
Challenge your friends or other online players, or race co-op in the same team for new tactical options!

  • Protection icon: If the icon is bright, the rider is protected by another rider who is indicated by a darker icon.
  • Yellow bar: The Big Effort energy bar. It’s replaced by a blue bar as it is used up, bottlenecking the energy. Careful energy management can reduce the blue bar.

  • Green bar: The Stamina bar decreases throughout the race.
  • Heart: Heart rate.
  • Water Bottle and Blue Gel: Water and energizing gel stock.
  • Group Letter and Position: Each rider’s position in the group and which group they’re in.

  • Effort Slider: Change the effort from 0 to 99 on one or several of your riders.
  • Action Icon: “Attack”, “Keep Position”, “Free Effort Mode”, “Relay”, “Resupply”, “Use an Energizing Gel” and “Apply the Strategy” (automatic).

Depending on the situation, more icons might be available, like “Sprint” for example.

3) General Information: Display the selected rider’s speed, the slope and the wind strength.

4) Gap: Display the gaps between the groups of riders.

5) Stage Information: Distance until the intermediate sprints and the finish for the leader. Stage profile displays the sprint and climb locations, as well as the position of the riders on the stage.
